"Saya menghabiskan waktu berbulan-bulan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dan perencanaan untuk melakukannya. Sebagai persiapan, saya memanjat dinding panjat tertinggi di dunia dan Inggris, dan saya telah memanjat banyak crane juga," sebutnya.
The Shard sendiri terdiri dari 72 lantai dan terdiri dari restoran, kantor, dan hotel paling mewah di ibukota.
